I was with you on the firsts part, had to hit the brakes on your second statement though.

I can never order seafood inland again.

Hey man, I lived in Belmar for Sandy, you don’t gotta tell me about how bad these storms can be, but this is a case of the juice being worth the squeeze.

You’ve always got the canals.
Then then again in the hot weather they can start to smell if there’s not much traffic to keep the water moving.

Booooooo

The thought of inland seafood grosses me out. The place I ate last night had the name of the boats in the very same marina that their seafood came off of next to the items.

i cycle to and from work along the canals most days...its a detour but its nice... now boating season has started i avoid them tho..... i hate waiting for bridges

I agree. I’m in Belmar and Sea Girt all the time....nothing better than happy hour at Sunsets by the marina. (Technically that’s Neptune, right?)
![]() 05/05/2018 at 10:02 |

Honestly the thought of being landlocked gives me anxiety
![]() 05/05/2018 at 10:04 |

agreed.... tho living next to a circuit helps some :)
(next to an army barracks too.... the soundtrack to my weekend is souped up motors and gunfire... i love it)

Well these pics were Marina Grille in Belmar, but yeah sunsets it Neptune City

The middle of New Jersey isn’t half bad either.

I agree wholeheartedly with every fact you have presented here today.

When they not over here at RAF Spadeadam (Europe’s only Electronic Warfare Tactics facility).
We host the Dutch army and air force often.
The air force lads are good lads, the army lot, well they are a bit more up themselves and don’t talk much.

I knew it looked familiar. Never ate there, will have to check it out....usually we go to Kleins.
Let’s hope it’s a good summer!

Goshen Pond in Wharton. One thing I don’t miss living near the beach is shore traffic.

The difference between army and air force is like night and day.
![]() 05/05/2018 at 10:55 |

But things get cheaper when you’re landlocked, right?
![]() 05/05/2018 at 10:58 |
|
i would have been army... but i got wonky eyes and dont like being told what to do.....
![]() 05/05/2018 at 11:03 |
|
Sounds like you’d be perfect. Lol.
It’s what they say about Italians, wonky eyes, no sorry, that’s italics.
![]() 05/05/2018 at 11:07 |

im right handed and left eyed

not a boat person... but agree on the coastal living. Having some mountains around is nice too.

Ye’, Brexit could be awkward especially as the U.K. and France have been aligning our forces together.

You can buy seafood fresh off the boat, and almost every restaurant here uses local seafood. It’s really amazing. There’s even a restaurant that exclusively uses the bycatch species that you would never think to eat.
It feels weird when I go inland now because I’m not used to seeing hill in the background.
![]() 05/05/2018 at 16:31 |
|
It’s going to be.
![]() 05/05/2018 at 16:32 |

The traffic is worth it because you can blame bennies and it’s accepted that outside of businesses, you treat them like absolute garbage.
![]() 05/05/2018 at 16:34 |

Who cares about cheaper? It’s only money.
![]() 05/05/2018 at 16:34 |

Mountains suck.
